Initial Assessment

A fundamental step towards vehicle type approval is the 'initial assessment' or conformity of production (CoP). This audit evaluates the ability of manufacturers of motor vehicles or vehicle parts to:

Produce a range of products that comply with the original type approval, both for small and unlimited series production.
Produce a one-time product that meets the applicable legislation (national).
