The Assured Malt Standard is aimed at malt producers. By meeting this standard, malting operations demonstrate to customers and other interested parties that best practice has been followed and food safety and quality hazards are effectively controlled. All companies certified to supply Assured UK Malt will be subject to external audit of their compliance with the standard.
