Application for Dutch State Type Approval
To obtain Government Inspection Mark for a fire extinguisher, an application must be submitted to Kiwa FSS. The processing of the application includes checking the presence and usability of documents submitted with the application. This page describes the documents that must be included with the application and the requirements they must meet.
Agreement / Request form
In the agreement, the applicant instructs the applicant to process the application for National Type Approval for a portable fire extinguisher. The type designation used by the applicant will be adopted.

A number of documents must be submitted when applying for a Government Inspection Mark. These documents are listed on the application form. Documents must be submitted in duplicate, of which at least one shall be an original or certified copy. We prefer to receive these documents in digital format. Scanned copies will not be processed.
As soon as documents have been positively assessed and invoice has been paid, Kiwa FSS will provide you with the Government Inspection Mark Number.
