Kiwa Poland Granted PAA Authorization

Kiwa Nuclear AB, represented in Poland by Kiwa Poland, has been officially authorized by the Państwowa Agencja Atomistyki (PAA) as an expert organization qualified to prepare assessments for the application process of Poland’s first nuclear power plant.

This authorization covers a wide range of activities, including structural-integrity assessments of nuclear power plant components, with a particular focus on the reactor and pressure vessel. This is a notable recognition for Kiwa and reflects Kiwa’s strong expertise in nuclear engineering. Under Polish nuclear legislation, the President of PAA may commission assessments from external organizations that demonstrate the necessary knowledge and experience.
