Live webinar series: Your step-by-step guide to carbon verification

As organizations across industries navigate increasing regulatory and stakeholder demands related to climate action, Kiwa is launching a new three-part webinar series to support businesses in understanding and applying carbon verification standards.

Titled "Journey to Carbon Verification", the series will explore the ISO 14064 standards and provide insights into the key steps involved in carbon reporting, management, and third-party verification. The sessions are designed for sustainability professionals, compliance officers, and anyone responsible for carbon and ESG reporting within their organization.

“The pressure to demonstrate carbon accountability is growing rapidly,” says Büsra Sahin Product Manager at Kiwa. “This series is meant to provide clarity on how companies can approach verification in a structured and confident way.”

What to expect?

Each webinar is structured to build on the previous one, guiding participants from foundational concepts to practical implementation and final conformance.

  • Part 1 – September 1: ' Carbon Quantification, Mitigation and Reporting' is an introduction to the ISO 14064 standards, the role of carbon verification, and the growing importance of third-party assurance.
  • Part 2 – September 18:   During 'Getting Started on your GHG Reporting' you will receive practical steps for getting started, understanding key terminology, and uncovering the mechanisms behind carbon footprinting.
  • Part 3 – October 24: In 'GHG Mitigation, Reporting, Removals and Offsets' we will take a focused look at conformance requirements, documentation, and reporting – essential for those preparing for external verification.

All webinars include an Q&A segment, allowing participants to ask questions specific to their sector or reporting situation.
