Kiwa Norway is expanding its business through the merging of Wergeland Bedriftsutvikling AS (WBU). Starting from this year, the latter company will continue to provide services under the Kiwa umbrella.

"Wergeland Bedriftsutvikling becoming part of Kiwa is very exciting due to their expertise within management system development, process and risk mapping," says Karsten Warloe, Country Manager Kiwa Norway.

WBU has been providing expert management systems, training, and consulting services since 2008. With a focus on delivering tailored solutions, it has successfully supported clients across diverse industries, including oil and gas, maritime, construction, energy, and public enterprises

"In addition to providing services that align well with our customer focus and portfolio, our new colleagues have a broad background in digital tools and solutions for quality management systems. Over the years, they have built expertise that is a good match with us and our strategy," continues Warloe.

Strengthened portfolio

Wergeland is joining Kiwa Kompetanse, where there is great anticipation for continued growth and strengthened support for both new and existing customers.

"We look forward to welcoming new colleagues and being able to support our and WBU's customers further through a strengthened portfolio and continue the development of new services aimed at creating results for our customers," says Siv Emanuelsen, Division Director for Training and Consultancy.

New focus areas

For Wergeland Bedriftsutvikling, becoming part of Kiwa is an exciting next step. The company will have a great opportunity to drive development and services together with local and international colleagues in Kiwa.

"Our goal is to continue contributing to development and improvement, and to create results for and with our customers. Additionally, we can offer services to larger customer groups and operator companies, including requirements within human rights and audit services," says Siv Wergeland.

"Together with new colleagues, we will strengthen our services in cyber and information security, as well as sustainability and energy management," says Wergeland and adds:

"I look forward to getting to know the Kiwa group even better, and above all, to contributing to the development of services for new and existing customers. As a group, we have a solid course business that WBU will now be part of. Going forward, we will offer courses in even more places in Norway".
