CPR 2024: Kiwa Reaffirms Commitment to the Construction Industry

The new Construction Products Regulation (CPR 2024) marks a key milestone for the European construction sector.
One of the most significant changes introduced by CPR 2024 is the integration of technical and environmental performance into a single, consistent and verified framework for construction products. This is an important step toward ensuring that technical and environmental performance are evaluated together in a harmonised way when assessing new solutions for the sector.
At Kiwa, we’re proud to actively support the implementation of CPR 2024, including in the field of innovative products. Our technical experts are currently developing European Assessment Documents (EADs) in line with the DoP-C, with the goal of ensuring that construction products meet both technical and environmental requirements, supporting the transformation toward a sustainable construction sector.
This work is being carried out in our role as a Technical Assessment Body (TAB) within EOTA (European Organization for Technical Assessment), in close collaboration with its technical committees and industry observers. As active members of PT12, our specialists are engaged in intensive discussions on adapting the EAD framework to fully align with the new requirements of CPR 2024.
With these efforts, Kiwa reaffirms its commitment to a construction industry that is sustainable, innovative, and future-ready.
